Push Bike Strider
Hybrid bikes – Push Bike is said can help to teach your children coordination, balance and developing your children confidence. So I begin to wonder what the differences between bikes with training wheels and Trikes with push bike? As I need to find bike for my 3 years old son. Based on my research, I found that conventional bikes are mainly focus on learn to pedal skimping to develop your children motor skill and tricycles are quite difficult to be control and it’s also quite clunky and heavy.
I also try to find some information about bicycle that equipped with training wheel. The result is this kind of bicycle is unstable, quite tall and it will surely make a new beginner scare.
Each of those bicycles is posses the possible to give your children unpleasant accidental injuries and fear. On the contrary, if got the information that Push bicycle is actually free of any kind chains, cables, pedals, sprockets or even protrusions which can harm your son or daughter because naturally when your kids feel unstable, by reflex they will place their both feet on the ground. Therefore you will find absolutely no “training-wheel wobbles” or even “tricycle tip-overs” that will cause hesitancy, fear and hate of bicycle riding. So which one is the push bicycle for your children?
The Strider’s Push Bike
With overall performance and features, I choose the striders push bicycle. First, this push bike is easy for your children to do some maneuver because the bicycle is lightweight, so it easy to control too, even my son can lift it up. The bike seat height is also can be adjusted start from 11” from the ground. It will be useful accommodating the shortest of legs. In order to make this balancing bicycle is easy to control, the manufacture design the handlebar with flat and low handlebar design. I think the purpose why they build it like that because it will make your children can reach forward rather than up and it surely will give your children better maneuverability and leverage.
I should warn you also, if your son or daughter is 3,5 years old or more. I suggest you to purchase the extra long seatpost.
Push Bike in my opinion
In my opinion, this push bicycle is a brilliant idea. I would recommend this push bike better than wood bicycle. As the wood bicycle were not comfy or intuitive, neither were they adjustable for much flexibility. The push bicycle design is quite great, lightweight, easy to assemble and durable. The tires are maintain free because its build from kind of plastic or foam so you don’t have to worry for flat tires.
This push bike is ideal for shorter children because it has seat height with the 11” for the lowest height. These are the pros and cons according to my opinion:

- Durable, light and easy to control
- It can teach your children stability quickly and teaches your kid coordination, balance, increasing self-confidence for later pedal biking.
- Fantastic easy five minutes assembly.
- Launch Pad footrests for learning and gliding higher riding skills.
- Intended for kids ages one to five and it comes with 1 year guarantee.
Cons:
- There are no breaks with this bike, My son tried to glide downward a semi-steep hill and once he started going faster my son put his foot down and went over the handlebars and the effect wasn’t pretty
- Plastic wheels
- Pricy
If you don’t really mind with the downside, I will recommend this push bike for you.
