Biking Gear : Helmet

Schwinn Thrasher Adult Micro Bicycle Helmet

This helmet is quite comfortable for any kind of weather. It also has 21 integrated flow vents and in order to keep you dry, it also has moisture wicking pads. The feature that I like most is it has Dual Fit adjustable design and webbing that easily to adjust. I think helmet is the most important thing, as you know there are growing numbers of distracted drivers these days.

Pros:

  • This helmet is sculpted to permit sufficient air flow to maintain your head cool
  • Has the knob on the back to tighten the fitting around your head
  • Adjustable, even for large sized head
  • Comfortable
  • Nice looking
  • Worth the money

Cons:

  • Need more padding
  • Straps were a little twisty
  • The shell part is glued with the foam part

Biking Gear : Cycling Glove

Next, I would like to make a review about cycling glove. I think the most ideal cycling glove that I ever had is the Pearl Izumi gel glove. When I wear this glove, it feels very soft and the ventilation is keeping my palm from heat inside. Definitely, the most breathable gloves I ever had. One thing for sure is that the comfort Bridge Gel-Vent padding and In-R-Cool mesh palm lining for skin-cooling effect that the manufacture offers really works. The material is also durable as it is made from Clarino synthetic leather. It is quite good bike riders who put in a lot of saddle time.

Pros:

  • Cozy in all areas of hand
  • No stress on the wrist closure
  • Gel pads are split into segment, the result is a reduced amount of pressure when gripping the handlebars
  • Light weight
  • Easy to wash

Cons:

  • The stitching is too close to several of the borders of the fabric
  • The color of Screaming Yellow is more of a yellow-green
  • After a few time used one of this biking gear, the surface of the glove a bit pilled as it made from leather
